Good day, Is there a way to update the maps that are used by the RC 2 controller? The maps used by the RC 2 controller seems somewhat outdated when compared to the maps that are used by the DJI Fly app on my iPad but I don’t see any way to update the maps that are used by the RC 2 controller. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the prompt response.  I am at the latest firmware level. Can you indicate how old the maps are that run on the controller? When I compare Google Maps to the maps that are running on the controller it appears that the maps on the controller are quite  old.

Hi all,

I just unpacked my DJI mini 4 pro with RC 2, and it is not locating me on the map - "Unable to obtain current location. Choose your location"

What do you think I should do?

Also, it shows me "FWD and BKWD unavailable. LEFT/RIGHT unavailable. UP/DOWN unavailable"

Hi all,

You should really post this as a completely new thread for two reasons.

1. It's not relevant to the thread that it is in
2. More importantly, more people will see it if it's a new thread, with a distinctive title highlighting the problem, and you stand a far better chance of the issue being addressed by those knowledgeable enough.

Good luck getting a quick resolution so you can enjoy it.

As far as your second issue, your obstacle sensors will activate once you take off.  They remain inactive when you are on the ground to conserve battery power.
