Hi everyone,

I recently bought a DJI Mic Mini and want to use it with my DJI Osmo Pocket 2, but I’m not sure how to connect them properly.

Here’s what I know so far:
  • The DJI Mic Mini has a 3.5mm output, but I don’t think the Osmo Pocket 2 has a direct 3.5mm input. Do I need an adapter?
  • Can I use a USB-C adapter for connecting the mic to the Osmo Pocket 2?
  • How do I make sure the Osmo Pocket 2 recognizes the external microphone?

I would really appreciate it if someone could explain the steps or share their experience.

Thanks in advance!

Hi there! Thank you for your inquiry. You can use the 3.5mm camera cable to connect the DJI Pocket 2 Do-It-All Handle with the DJI Mic Mini receiver (red). Also, please note that the Type-C adapter of the DJI Mic Series cannot be connected to the Type-C port of the camera body. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Connecting the DJI Mic Mini to the DJI Osmo Pocket 2 can be a bit tricky since the Osmo Pocket 2 doesn’t have a direct 3.5mm input. Many users wonder if they need an adapter or if the device will recognize the microphone automatically.

At Buonasera Immagini, we know how important clear, high-quality audio is—whether you’re recording memories or creating engaging social media content. Just like fine-tuning camera settings for the best visuals, getting the right audio setup can make a big difference.

Steps to Connect DJI Mic Mini to Osmo Pocket 2:
✅ Use the DJI Pocket 2 Do-It-All Handle—this adds a 3.5mm input for easy connection.
✅ Connect the DJI Mic Mini receiver (red) via a 3.5mm camera cable for proper audio input.
✅ Avoid using the Type-C adapter from the DJI Mic Series, as it won’t work with the Osmo Pocket 2’s Type-C port.
✅ Check audio settings on the Osmo Pocket 2 to ensure it recognizes the external mic.

Just like optimizing 3D prints or adjusting social media trends, getting the right audio setup requires some tweaks. With the correct accessories and settings, you’ll be capturing perfect audio and visuals in no time!
