Throwback to when I was out with the Mini 3 Pro and I had a swarm of close to 100 wild bees attack and get destroyed in the props... took a long time to clean up the mess!! Images below:

Dang, you'd think those bees would need some glasses.    Why in the world would they come after a drone?  Oh well at least you got the drone back safely albeit a mess to clean up.

Yeah it was pretty strange ... I think they had a hive nearby which is why they attacked.

I personally hoped you had bee striped the aircraft and maybe two dealyboppers on the top, you know, bee like one of them, observe their ways... (shrugs)

I've seen them and others (hornets, wasps) come after tractors and weed whackers.

I suspect there is a low frequency in the motor that they just don't appreciate.

I'm surprised the swarm didn't clog the motor frames. (I'm sure you looked in each of them with a magnifier though).

It doesn't take a lot to clog these small drone motors.
