Hi , so i've bought dji neo motion combo, with the dji n3 goggle and motion controller 3, yesterday when i fly indoors at night the UI become red and the drone become uncontrollable, is this normal?

Return this kit back to the store, DJI has been ignoring this problem for months. They assure us that it is our fault that we are not using the drone properly. It is all about the algorithm not working properly, we asked for the emergency brake button to work at least, but they do not listen to us. So it is better to return your money and forget about this drone as a bad dream

Ignor this ridiculous comment. That combo is excellent kit. Use it outdoors in the day. If you read the instructions you will see that the Neo will not fly in the dark.
The motion fly more combo is the best think I have bought in ages

I am with bigplumbs on this one.
Neo has 2 sensors, the camera and the ir sensor downwards. Indoor you dont have gps, not accurate enough at least. For non military if I remember right outside is half a meter, inside its 5-6 meter. Depending on the module it can be worse.
So inside you have 2 sensors, without light, you have 1. It's trying its best, just like we would when we look at the ground with a binocular in front of out feet. Its impossible to use that.
Since you have the fpv setup, switch it to manual mode, that uses none of the sensors, and only your talent.

Notice the in depth answer dji gave here, instead of giving us answers on the same problems you talk about and many others the frustration is crazy. So many fan boys saying its perfect i wish i never got any dji drones after this tbh. The community in other drone brqnds are way more inviting and friendly.
