Hello,

I am a professional cinematographer and bought an Osmo X3 to play with a bit. I have done a numer of photographic tests on that unit and am fairly comfortabe with my understanding of its capabilities.

I wish to do some tests on the x5R, but $3k+ is a bit much to pay for a toy if I can't use the camera in my application. Does anyone in the LA area have an X5R camera they would be willing to rent to me for a few days for those tests? I plan to simply put it on my Osmo for the test and I am happy to buy the adapter if necessary.

Thanks for your information. I have been pouring over these for months. They are terrific sales pitches for the products, but do little to give actual information on real-world performance and actual use capabilities from a professional's perspective.

If your concern is marketing DJI's equipment to higher end professionals for more than the occasional novelty shot, I have quite a few thoughts which might be helpful to you. I invite you to contact me off list.
