I've submitted a several waiver requests online (FAA website) this week because I need to take aerial photos for my clients in the airspace D in Santa Monica, CA and El Monte, CA.  If you have some experience with COA, could you share how long it took, what time frame you had (from the date of the application to the actual start date of the job) and etc ? I passed the part 107 test on Sep 1st and it's my first commercial work within the controlled airspace near airports (of course it's first time to submit the waiver application as well).
