when using an iPad air 2 I download both a picture file from the camera AND a video file.  The App indicates both downloaded with a green check mark.  Outside of the pilot app I am able to find the *.jpg but not the *.mp4 or *.mov.  In the app I can play the video but I have visions of uploading the files to share and need to know where the files are.    Don't want to have to remove the micro SD card to do this action.

What am I missing?

You are better off removing the SD card and transferring the files that way.  Doing it wirelessly takes entirely to long.  

I agree, 30 sec @ 4K takes about 2 minutes....  BUT.... would be nice since iPad has no sd slot.

Beacuse mobile/tablet device is not capable of playing 4K video.
There seems has a bug that we can download the 4K video to our device but cannot find it. actually it cannot be downloaded. Will be optimized soon.

I'm just glad to know I wasn't crazy.  Thanks for the explanation.  

You can convert mp4 to mov with some converters. I found a page, which provides free video to mov converters. Maybe this can help you

Many tablets can not play 4K files , so you just need a 4k video converter  to resize 4k to 1080mb,which is compatible with tablet device.
