I would like to remove the propellers for safety reasons so that I can run the configuration program indoors. What is the preferred method for removing the propellers: removing each individual blade or removing the whole propeller subassembly from the motor hub.

What is the recommended method for reinstalling the propellers? Should I use medium threadlocker? Do you have a recommended torque value?

Hi,
I had cause to remove some broken props and there are no torque settings available so I used loctite 222 and did the bolts up until the props would move with just enough stiction to hold them folded or in your case the bolts will have painted lines, just count the full turns off and reverse for going back on and line up the marks. the washer's top and bottom of the props are fiddly to get in first time.
