Today was a perfect day for flying. Had the Mavic up at 300 feet with visual line of sight, nothing anywhere near the Mavic, and I got an obstacle warning. Very weird! At least this time it didn't freak out and I maintained control so no worries, but still an uneasy feeling.

My bird is on the 01.03.0300 firmware.

You probably was pointing into the direct sun. Not to worry...

Yeh it happened to me r cmtly also. I was facing the sun....

Interesting. Mine wasn't facing the sun but it was a bright and sunny day so maybe that had something to do with it.

Same thing happened to me today.  It stopped and complained of obstacle warning while flying into the sun.   I tested a few times and reproduced it consistently.     It is kind of annoying.  Maybe DJI will patch it.

Since I was in a wide open area, I turned off the forward obstacle.  It flew towards the sun and did not complain.

Same here. If it detects the sun (doesn't have to be pointed directly at it) you will get a OA warning. Annoying but not a big deal.
