Dirty Bird Posted at 2018-3-17 07:59
The Phantom 4 "Night Fury" catches the sunrise on a 55,101' (10.436 mile) early morning Litchi mission. The bird launches from Fort Armistead, passes Fort Carroll & Sparrow's Point, then flies over Fort Howard before turning towards home. The aircraft is a stock "Special Edition" P4 with a high-capacity battery. She returned with 19% remaining.
Very late evening, the mist rolling in and a long way out in the harbour.
Taken about 3 years ago with a Phantom 3 Pro. My first long flight at night, over water.
I used up my battery getting a tight elliptical circuit around the ship. I tried many angles to get the setting sun at its best.
I was worried that close in, I would hit the bowsprit or rigging as I moved sideways all the way around.
The 30% battery warning was a heart stopper. I had a long way to get back to home point.

Again" "China’s first space station, Tiangong-1, abandoned and out of control, is expected to drop out of orbit around this weekend, with pieces of it likely to survive the fiery re-entry and crash somewhere on Earth.... " I hope you Enjoy
