Stunning! Can you share what settings you use? Using any ND filters? I’m new to the Mavic and am trying to learn more about photography, I’ve focused on videos. I’ve been told by a pro photographer friend to always shoot in raw. Thoughts?
Thank you.
These were shot on manual mode, 100 iso, using 5 shot AEB mode to give me the over and underexposure so that the foreground isn't just blacked out against the sunset.
Merge the 5 photo stacks in Lightroom to HDR and then merge those into a panorama. Set highlights to -100, shadows to +100 and that should bring you to a good exposure.
After that, just fiddle with colour vibrancy and saturation until it suits the scene.
Always shoot in 4:3 and RAW it gives you the most information to work with and crop afterwards. It will give you bigger files which means less on your memory card but it gives you a lot more to work with and get around some of the limitations of the camera.
