It's not that hard. Just start off slow. Come up about 15 off the ground, and then work on hovering, as it will want to drift. Then work on moving left to right, and back and forth. I would advise starting out on a calm day, as wind really complicates maneuvering. After a while you'll get the hang of not having all those satellites doing the heavy lifting for you.
Also, I agree that it is imperative that everyone learns to fly these things without autopilot. |
