Have you tried it? It's so low that raising in post introduces noise....for out door use you use a deadcat LOL to eliminate wind noise
I'm sorry but it's not perfect unless you are recording a super loud rock concert indoors everything else the new adapter is useless...
I use deadcat, gain control so on. Have oa1 and never used mic input, just sucked, to hot, so i wrapped a hairband on oa1 and used its mic. So i buy oa3 had same issue, and no1 had an solution working. Until i did see a small youtuber use a cheap volume control. That worked. Now i have oa4 and the adaptér, mic1 too. will say, lavmic works best to catch surroundings, mic1 ok but best a talk. |
