Every Sunday you will find us being Sue and Myself attending Church 38 yrs
The structure has a main Barn 20mtr x 8 mtr when we bought the property
there was a fig tree in the front righthand side 20mtrs high, derilect would be
the description. We removed the 150mm floorbourds which were cupped and leveled the joists
and packed the boards to save money, it is called the Granery which is apt upon removing
the boards there was a number of gas canisters to kill vermin I declared look at the size of the
skeleton of the cat! no it was a rat the tail was 450mm long it was huge.
We built on the sides and at the end, for many years every saturday 7-1pm volenteers laid stone
to restore the building. History showed public dances were held in the barn before the
Aldinga institute was build,1900s present is 1935 vitage.
Enjoy
Nice renovation of the old barn. No doubt lots of volunteer work went into the renovation and building of the add-ons. I see you have a water run off collection system also. Nicely filmed Barry.

Thankyou.
Only short but when original to present day the Granery is a good place to worship.
The duplication of main south road has been under progress for a couple of years.
The vines are irrigated from treated effluent. Once back in 1978-9 the entire area
was renown for Almond Trees.
it is a huge export from the region.

It is the most amazing church, when we bought the property there was just an old grain Barn
Restoring the barn reversing the floorboards and repairing the roof was a 5-7 year labour of love every Saturday.
Glad you enjoyed the Video.
