DJI Goggles 3 + DJI RC 2

Could anyone confirm if the recently released Goggles 3 is now compatible with the DJI RC 2 without the need for the RC Motion control.

According to the new firmware updates, yes. No need for motion controller.

My biggest gripe though is they're saying the live view is only displayed on the Goggles 3 and not simultaneously with the RC2. It would have been nice to share the goggles with a friend or family while flying.

When using Air 3, RC2, and Goggles 3....I can't switch cameras to use 3x-9x zoom with the goggles or the remote shortcut. Are you guys going to enable this or should I return it as the advertised features are not provided? UPDATE: due to no response from DJI I returned the avada to along with the goggles.

I have no authority to create new thread so this one is closest to my question. Is DJI Goggles 3 compatible with DJI FPV drone? I have one and one with O3 unit, considering buying goggles and controller so my son can fly with me as well, but want new devices for me still be able using my old drones.

No, at least not at the moment. O3 Air Unit support might be coming soon according to some sources, but I haven't heard any mention of DJI FPV Drone support. Hopefully they'll add it and other O3-based drones too. If you look back at Goggles 2 and Integra launches, it took a while to get firmware updates supporting all the things.

I too returned the goggles when I heard about all the loss of functionality.

Not having the RC2 screen and functionality within the Goggles 3 display is an issue. But you can change controllers during flight without issue at least with the Mini 4 pro.

When using the RC2 with the Goggles 3 I'd like to have the Goggles display the usual screen from the RC2 with RC2 functionality available. To operate, have the RC2 screen work like a touchpad with mouse pointer displayed within the Goggles 3. Tap on the RC2 screen to select the desired options or perhaps program one of the C1 or C2 buttons to select.
Switch back to the Goggles 3 + RC Motion 3 to fly back having completed filming.

I just bought the Goggles3 and paired it to Mini 4 Pro and RC2. When Im using Goggles, there is no camera view on the RC2. I had to stream the camera view to the Dji fly app on my ipad. And the video streamng was low quality.. DJI should definitely change this in the upcoming updates. We should be able to view the camera from both goggles3 and rc2 simultaneously.

Also I couldn’t manage to activate head tracking with this setup and couldn’t find any info wheter this can be done or not. Has anyone used headtracking with mini4 pro goggles 3 and rc2?

I can confirm googles 3 works with rc2 without rc2 video and also without head tracking which was a primary reason I bought the googles. I am incredibly upset head tracking doesn’t work. I’m also left wondering why???
