If youre having light leaking from the side of your goggles, heres a fix for you.    Cut some 10mm thick foam as shown and slide into the sides,   you can even use the foam from the packaging of the goggles to make it.

Ive included some shots and a DXF file if you want to laser cut your own or you could just use scissors as it wont be seen when fitted.

Interesting solution. I've seen a few people wobble the rubber a bit after putting Goggles 3 on their face and they say that fixes the light leaks, did you maybe try that?

Mine came with the foam which I jut cut down to fit inside the rubber curtain to afford further protecion. Any light leakage fixed by doing what fichek advises.

I must have a slightly deformed head then.

I must confess to cheating a little on this one,   to get the right curve I traced around the rubber and then scanner in the drawing and traced the cad over the top.

That's not cheating, that's just working smarter.

Its actually a bit of an odd curve more of an ellipse thats been cut than a arc.

thanks.  The laser cuts makes a nice job of cutting that foam,  as long as you put some tape on the back, to stop the light reflecting back from the mesh support in the machine.

Nice.
Cutting would be hard otherwise (I struggled with that at least)

Accurate cuts in foam Id say was impossible without a laser.

Indeed that will have helped. Saving you from having to make multiple cuts to try and find the right size.

I did do a test cut in cornflake box to see what the shape was like.  They are so useful.

There was a TV show here for kids when I was growing up,  called Blue Peter,   there was a segment where they showed you how to make something with house hold waste,   like washing up liquid bottle into space ship or coat hanger into Christmas decoration,    cornflake boxes was a staple you'd have to keep to play along.       PS they now advertise washing up liquid that lasts so long that the kid is disappointed he cant make that rocket,    surely a joke for the oldies.
