I bought a Phantom 3 Professional lastweek and found the signel wasn't as great a claimed (was getting alot of interference in flight and loosing signal) i went flying with a friend who has a Phantom 4 yesterday who told me to put my phone on 'airplane mode' reconnect the wifi. I done just that and was blown away with the difference. Such a massive improvement i have no issues now

Same issue also with a disconnected error.  I was using a third party lightning cable because I forgot my iPhone brand cable.  Borrowed an iPhone cable from friend.  Problem solved.

I have this same problem an this is how I have solved it.  It is a pain, but it works.

I use the short cord that came with the controller to the port on the P3P.  I turn on the controller and then turn on the P3P.  It beeps a few seconds and then I get a green light on the controller. I turn both of them off and unplug from the P3P.  Start up as normal and I get the green light and can fly.  I am not sure why this works, but that's how I have to get my controller to talk to the aircraft.  Hope this will help.

I had the same problem I guess, video signal dropped in flight or as soon as i moved the Phantom.

Solution: Remove the gimbal, check the cables, replace if necessary. Fixed it for me.

The app on my Galaxy tab3V often shows NO SIGNAL but I am able ...

In addition to my earlier post, I am now only flying in 'no-flight' mode on my tablet. Not sure if it is completely solved but it is much much better than it was before. After 6 flights I did not have a lost signal any more...

I found out I am having same trouble with my drone  advance I am using a Samsung tap  today I started after it was working last night was blank again I shut the remote off had the app running for 3 min then turned remote on and it connected been trying all the other stuff it's the app is missed up

Having same problem  iam on a samsung tab getting disconnected  what i had work for me now is leave the app on shut the remote off for about 3 min then turn the remote on and it connected  only thing i have found that worked other then uninstall the dji go app then reinstall then I had it work for the night lost all the pics my first time trying all the other but this worked for me

Hello,

You need shortest and the best quality cable. Most probably, you use central USB outlet. That one may not show image for known to only DJI and Apple reason, but my guess is that video is sent over there with very precious timing, and long low quality cables just drop something.

Try original short cable from microusb outlet, it should work fine.

Update:  It appears that my system goes into an update mode which it does not ever recoverfrom, leaving a loud sound (not noise) from the gimbal area.  If I completely clean my SD card and insert it, it does not try to do the update and there is no gimbal sound.  Still not video on Apple, but no noise.

Looking at the .txt file, it appears to me that this P3P has been attempted to have downloaded firmware many unsuccessful times prior to my owning it?????

I know it's been ages since you posted this, but I am having the EXACT same problem. My .txt file shows every update ever, including ones that I didn't do, and many of them failed, a few say success, a few say abort. NO solution yet. Tried everything. About to just junk the thing. It was working fine before I attempted to update... Anyone have a solution for this yet?

I experienced the same problem this morning on a job.  Last used the aircraft a week ago and all systems worked as expected.  I have done no updates or modifications to the systems.  Today, no video.  Also witnessed the same issue with the battery power button after shut-down.

I had a similar issue. I force closed all apps on my iPad and restarted the DJI Go app. After that, the video feed started working again.
