I know, but they take your money before they ship your product, haven't you read the complaints? I would already see a bill for a product I don't have. With my pre-order I saved almost all the tax and got free shipping.

I'm guessing if nothing is wrong with the device then a delivery time of around November sounds legit.

I think it's safe to assume that October delivery is probably not happening.

I just hope things aren't pushed back into 2017.

Must say this is pretty unprofessional with the lack of info, but give it till end of week guys. If detailed information is not provide, then cancel away. No point of coming up with theories and trying to figure out what's going on. That is DJI responsibility, not yours...

There are thousands of things sold with a marking "patent pending". This only means they they filed a patent.

Our trusted distributer spoke about 300+ for their store. No idea for the rest of the country. Mine was ordered on 01 Oct, I hope they still ship it on time, cause I'm off to Thailand on 08/11 for 2 months. According to their explanation + last email, there is still a chance. Worst case scenario: a late Christmas "present" when I get back...

Bestbuy is showing "Get it by October 31", is that statement still true? I ordered from DJI on October 11th, would I just be getting it faster If i canceled my pre-order here and going straight with BestBuy?

Come on i still cant believe they not posting and no word as to why???? WTF DJI why are you keeping thousands if not millions of ppl with no update as to what is happening with our products that paid in full. This is bull sht! Therein lies the question. Without any official and real information from DJI, no one can tell you what's best.

It would appear that DJI are no longer responding to customer service emails either. I am actually starting to become very concerned that I'll ever see anything for my money. A delay I can accept. It's the complete lack of information that I cannot.

I still can't believe people are still posting links to websites that say delivery by 'x' date thinking they are gonna get it. Even suggesting cancelling their order directly with DJI and ordering else where haha. If they had a date then the people that ordered directly from DJI would have a date. At the moment we know nothing. So therefore any website retailer saying you get it by this date either haven't updated their website or they're just straight up lying. You think retailers that have to receive it like us, then send it out again to the customer, just being the middle man are gonna get it to you before DJI get it directly to you? No. Stop dreaming.

I've stopped caring now. I'm checking here every day for an update, other than that I'm giving it until a set date in November to hear about a dispatch and if not then I'm cancelling.

Yes definitely faster with reseller, as DJI simple fail all preorder customer and transfer their shipment to dealer and reseller. Very disappointed!

its a nice small package good for Air cargo pallets, they could fit about in the thousands in one cargo DHL plane or Fedex plane or UPS plane.

Speaking of air cargo, I wonder which airline they've chosen. It seems they often use DHL, based on some searching for previous Phantom 4, OSMO, and other releases.

my order before I hit purchase it gave three different carrier so it could be either with DHL, FEDEX or UPS, when I order my first iMac 27 inch quad core i7 which I remember apple came up with that new aluminum design I place the order Dec 31 of 2009 I did not get the computer till Feb 8 2010, that computer lasted me 6 years and the graphic card died out on my computer... and I had to buy another one which I went out for the mac pro late 2013.. The iMac came through UPS that time, directly from china I track the entire trip of that imac it landed in I think it was north Korea or south stood there for the weekend and then flew into LA and from LA to Paris and from paris to spain and then to my house.. I should of order that iMac at the time in new york because I was in NYC when the package flew over my head and I was waiting for 2 months for the damn computer.

what time all DJI shipment comes out of their ware house its 5:20 pm there at my job carriers come in at 6pm to pick up all the orders I wonder what time the carriers come to pick up all the orders from DJI in china.

I bet they are manufacturing it now as we whinge in this forum. They will be delivered. Hopefully in next few weeks. First drone I ordered. Not too worried about the delay, rather wait a few extra weeks to be sure it is a good product and says what's in the preview. Costed me almost $1900 AUD with all the extra taxes down here. Wife's pregnant and very hormonal (good to have an escape when it arrives )

Understand why the DJI staff not allowed to comment. They would get the sack if saying why the delay.
Lot of speculations,
Shipping
Camera
Name (mavic)
And lot of others.

Let them do their job which is awesome drones what I've read in forums and reviews. I don't expect any DJI staff to answer our questions in here.

As I see it, sure it sucks they have my money and not delivered on "time". But gosh, cannot wait for it to arrive........
