I have a standing order with Adorama I made on Oct, 30th on a combo package.  From what I know they have only gotten a handful of units sent to them. Last night I also ordered from Newegg I guess we will see which I get 1st.

It is really easy to say just sit back and chill and call other people crybabies when you ordered yours 10-8 and it's shipping and there's people that ordered it on the day it was released and still have not received theirs.  Matter of fact there's people that ordered it this month that already have it shipping  which makes no sens AT all.  By December 16 I leave for work and won't be back until next year.  I'm getting pretty worried that I will not be around to give this gift to my son before Christmas

Did that with BestBuy and Bestbuy said I would have it on Nov 30th, then the 30th came and got email it would be dec 27th. about 2 days later DJI sent email saying mine was shipped and with be here Wed the 7th. Canceled my order with BestBuy. I wanted the combo any ways so it worked out. Now I am going to order the P4P but this time I ordered it from Drone-World and it ships out monday the 5th. Bought their combo pack. Love DJI product and its a shame they did it this way but what can we do, honestly nothing cause we will come back to DJI once we try something else. They are the leading drones out there!

I wanted to upvote this just because as a father who cant see his kids until court hearing cause ex wife is just unreal. I cant give my gifts to them unless I give them to her first. anyways if I had a way to help you be able to give it I would give up mine and wait longer. No father should not be able to give their gift just cause a company didnt plan just a little better. Everyone not that it helps but upvote just to say sorry and hope he gets his in time

Another person with inside information.... cool ... "one thing is clear here and that is DJI were not remotely ready to start manufacturing on Sept 27th."

"That was just an out right lie!"    FAIL .. !LOGIC FLAWED!   Can you seriously not come up with a scenario that could explain  1. Dji honesty thought they were ready production on 27th of September 2. They were not ready for production.

I could come up with infinite scenarios..... cant you at least come up with one?

You would think that with customers like myself who paid for their Mavic almost two months ago and are still waiting, that DJI would take it upon themselves to offer free upgrades or other tokens of appreciation, like free extra batteries and or props, to patient and loyal customers. DJI has acknowledged the fact that they screwed up royally their inability to deliver that which they promised when they announced the Mavic back at the end of September.

Glad your getting yours. I have only posted updates on my order and haven't complained once and am in no hurry. I ordered through a third party on October 7th and am still waiting. I will continue to wait. I have been following this thread for weeks and have seen lots of people whining like babies and don't like it either but  it's easy to throw stones when you got what you want. And for your information DJI is not the best drone makers out there... I could list them but apparently you haven't a clue....and Ken you shouldn't let this guy do this... what about the rules?j Guess as long as he pumps sunshine in your ear its ok?  Have a nice day  ....

Has DJI severely scaled back production of the Mavic-only package?  It seems that 90%+ of all shipments, as listed in the database, are the Fly More Combo.

Another thing to contemplate is that production in China, of anything, shuts down effectively from Jan 4th for Chinese New Year.  The official dates are Jan 19th, but many of the factory workers are out on Jan 4th.

Chinese New Year is January 27th to February 2nd this year.

I received mine yesterday. Ordered on November 4th. The drone alone with one spare battery, not the fly more package.  
I ordered it at the flagship store in Shenzhen, so it looks like they get some priority over there.

Yeah I agree, check out the tracking status! ok they have the excuse of it being a weekend, but still DHL could have done something, released it, send it back, blow it up but not the same status in 4 days.

Im in Stockton, Ca and my Mavic arrived in Oakland, Ca today. It is 55 miles or so away.. Fedex says it will be here on Wed.. Any chance cause its so close it will be here before then?
