Yes, I do know the difference, I taught photography at the college level for over two decades, and have been a very successful freelance photographer for longer than that. My Osmo+ would not stay focused on where I tapped. If I panned or pointed the camera elsewhere, the focus would simply do it's own thing immediately. From what others are saying, this is what everyone but you has experienced. I wish I would have gotten your Osmo+ Marcel, you got the only one that works right ;-) DJI online chat confirmed that it's focus could not be locked or held in place, that it was indeed continuous autofocus. I tried the "focus when gimbal stops" switch in both positions, and there was no change, it always just refocused whenever what was at the center of the frame changed. Other than that, there is no setting which can lock focus or make it one-shot autofocus. |
