man, i am sick and tired of reading person and person order their mavic weeks after me and yet they have them already.
Resellers are getting absolutely shafted here.
and i think i read it earlier somewhere that people cancelling their orders with resellers hurts no one but the reseller.

totally agree here less than 4 days in total and on my birthday it arrives, can't say I've had a better present in a very long time, even if i did buy it myself.

I placed my order on January 17th and just recently got the payment confirmed blue dot the other day. DJIs customer service is horrible so far. Each support tech I chat with has a different inaccurate response with very little to no information. At first they had told me that my mavic would be shipped out on or before the 26th...Yet nothing has happened.

Very unhappy at the moment. Not only because the process is taking so long for my product to get shipped out, but because of the customer service provided.

So frustrating seeing people who have ordered after you get there orders with in 48 hours or even with in a week. when you've been waiting patiently with no problems your end. Money taken and everything! Crazy.

Ordered direct from DJI when it said 3-5 days. Stuck on 3rd dot. Got lucky and was able to order from Best Buy this past Saturday around 1:00 am drone only. Got the rest of the stuff from B&H photo to make my own fly more package minus the bag, which I didn't want anyway. Everything got delivered to me 15 min ago. Cancelled my order with DJI. Paid the same price.

Ordered my Mavic December 14th as a Christmas present for myself, arrived January 13th with an unresponsive right stick out of the box.  

Refunded my order and ordered a new Mavic on January 16th, set to arrive around the area of Boston, Massachusetts.

Order Number: 0018621890887

Note: I ordered this new Mavic about a week and a half before the estimated shipping changed from "3-5 days" to "10-15 days"

2 days later, my order status changes from "payment success" to "shipped". I waited patiently for 2 days to receive my tracking number, as it took about a day to receive the tracking number for my previous Mavic that arrived broken. After 2 days, I contacted DJI via live chat, where they told me I should receive my tracking number within 24-48 hours. I waited 2 more days, and no tracking number. I contacted live support again, and they tell me the shipment was "over due". 2 days later I contact live support again and they tell me my Mavic is due for shipment on the 25th. The 25th comes along... and no tracking number. I talk to live support again and  Wait 2 more days for my tracking number... and nothing. Contact DJI live support again and they tell me to wait patiently for my tracking number. So I wait 2 more days. After waiting over 2 weeks with these BS excuses, I figure it's time I actually speak with someone on the phone to get things sorted out quicker. I call up DJI Support, and you know what they tell me? They tell me that I need to email them or contact live support. Absolutely horrible customer support DJI. Here we are a day later, and I still don't have my tracking number. What really infuriates me is that I see people here saying how they ordered their Mavic's not even a week ago, and they already arrived to their door. Where are your priorities, DJI? I've technically been waiting over a month and a half for my Mavic Pro. Won't be ordering any more DJI products once my Mavic arrives, if it ever does.

Ordered before half the people I've been seeing lately that have their Mavic's in hand (Jan 19th)...I can't even get mine to ship.  Also, I don't know if anyone else has had the same problem, but I've been on their chat customer support a few times to try and get some answers and I've been up to 6th in line 3 times and then been resent back to 80th.  When I finally did get thru, they split my order because the filters of all things were backordered.  I couldn't care less about those at the moment, send them to me in April for all I care.  I want my f'ing Mavic (and the spare batteries preferably).  Anyway, I was told package 1 (just the mavic) was scheduled to ship yesterday (Jan 30th), package 2 Feb 2nd, and the filters (package 3) Feb 20th.  So that's what I was told yesterday morning.  This afternoon I go back on, get screwed by the queue again, only to talk to some guy that said Feb 20th.... and that was it.  Wouldn't answer a single question of mine other than that.  He just said Feb 20 five different ways.  Needless to say, I wish I had other options at this point, but I don't know of any.  I guess I don't have a question, just a rant.

I've been having all of the same difficulties.

Spent tons of time on chat support, and they refuse to answer any of my questions.

Just want to let you guys know, if you are waiting for it to ship (even if you ordered a long time ago), it seems that it will definitely not ship until after the Chinese New Year.

I asked over and over and over, "Have you paused shipping for all orders until after Chinese New Year?" They just kept responding "We don't know why you're package hasn't been sent out, but we will submit a ticket. Please wait 24-48 hours". After refusing to get off chat, she finally told me that, no, my order will definitely not go out until after Chinese New Year.

They could choose to be honest and just tell us info like this, but refuse to do so and give us the run-around instead. I'm thinking I may just go ahead and take a refund, because this is absolutely absurd.

Having worked in a few call centers in the past please remember that these folks are likely being crushed with the volume of people making inquiries. Add to that the fact that communication between sales, manufacturing, shipping and support departments is often lacking and full of bad information. Especially when the company is being stressed. There is the corporate party line support personnel is provided, then the rumors, and lastly some glimpse of reality, and none of these line up to one another. Walk into a call center when things are crazy like they likely are at DJI right now and ask 10 different reps what their understanding is of shipping dates, known issues, etc and you'll get 10 different answers.

It's the pencil pushers at the top and the managers under them that are often the root cause of these issues. Lack of willingness to allocate needed resources and training, lack of prior planning, lack of interdepartmental communication, and an unwillingness to properly manage customer expectations all feed into these types of wildfires. The one person I guarantee has no control over any of that is the person the customer gets to speak to.  Hopefully DJI will get the ship back under control.

Here is my entire experience....

On January 13th, at approx 5:01pm CST I purchased a DJI Mavic Pro – Fly More Combo drone set.  At the time of purchase, the DJI website stated that orders will ship within 3-5 Business Days.

Ordered mine through DJI's Amazon store Jan. 14th and had it the morning of the 20th. On the 23rd I ordered 2 extra batteries and a set of spare props from DJI's website. Should've bit on the extra cash for a few elsewhere.

Certainly seems to be some very mixed ordering experiences.  I ordered on 21/1/17 (Flymore Combo), was told it was due to ship on 26th and it still hasn't (three blue dots).  Sitting at wait pick status according to chat.  I've been charged in full too.  This is an order from Australia direct from DJI.

Really average customer experience with online chat people giving conflicting information also.

I've been told that shipping recommenced today (in China) after Chinese New Year and so I am hopeful that mine will ship by her end of this week.  Will be very disappointed if not given that when i ordered their site stated 1-3 business days from payment confirmation (which I got on the 21/1/17!).

Dying to just get the Mavic and go flying!

Ordered on 1/21 in the U.S. (Iowa). Fiinally received the infamous "4th blue dot" this morning! No shipping information yet (mobile or desktop site), but based on timelines from others on this forum hopefully I will receive tracking within 24 hours!

Cancelled DJI order last night and ordered from rcdepot.  Fly More arriving Saturday for same price.  Already have the DJI care code sent to me.  Can't wait.  I didn't like they charged my card right away and I wasn't really sure when i would get it.

DJI customer service is really so bad ! For me they send all the accesories today while in the chat they tell me that they will send me only the fly more combo Jan 30, they are not doing what they said at all !

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to you to request the reimbursement of order N°0016308520549.

The shipment was not delivered and was sent back to the factory. I have been communicating with DJI through the website chat for two months now and have received different answers, which is starting to worry me. At first, I requested that the package be re-sent to the provided address, however I received no response or information indicating that this was being done. I then requested the reimbursement and have also not been able to receive information regarding this.

It has now been a long time and I have not received any information from your behalf regarding the status of my order.

Ideally, I would like the package to be re-sent to the provided address. If this is not possible, I would like to receive receive the reimbursement for this order so that I can place a new order.

I hope to hear from you soon so that we can solve this matter as soon as possible given that it has been several months now with no solution.

Care Code came to me in separate email a day after I got my shipping notification from DJI.

I'm with apple uk. When you say you have had order confirmation, what do you mean? Apple uk says march-April for mavics.
Personally I'm holding out for apple to send me mine. Apple has the best return policy guys. You really want to go through all this hassle once you get it, and if you ever need to send it back!

Congrats - just take your time and do all of the suggested updates, calibrations etc. I just set mine up today and although it takes a bit of time it's worth it. Had a flawless first test flight

Most accessories are in stock at the moment at B&H Photo. Thats where I bought most of mine. Free shipping as well.
