Given the failure rate of these things, and only a six month warranty, I wouldn't stock any more than you plan to use in a day before hitting the charger again. I don't linger in an area too long to wear out more than two as I've had enough cop interactions by people who call in complaining, "I see a drone, and it's bothering me and my baby/dog/cat/fish/whatever!"
If they sit too long unused, they become dead. One extra is enough backup for me in case of the dreaded DOA (Dead on Activation) scenario too. Too many requires a good rotational policy.
Do you know what the failure rate is?
Also, do you have a picture on the average life span? I know another here asked about how many charges they'll suffer, but I would like to know time wise regardless of use although I'm sure use plays a huge factor.
