occusync on the mavic pro uses 2.4Ghz, at the moment no way for occusync to link via 5.8ghz band. however the mavic does support wifi mode which includes 2.4 and 5.8ghz, but this is so you can use your phone/tablet as a controller, the controller itself doesn't use wifi (802.11 standard), it has its own standard.
P4Pro has 2.4 and 5.8Ghz, but thats is a different system called Lightbridge, which is more similar to wifi than occusync, but still is not wifi.
right, and I was asking about the p4p. From forum and youtube I believe typically you can toggle between 2.4 and 5.8 in the GO 4 app. can you confirm that by any chance? i do not see this option and seem to be stuck on 5.8GHz
