I finely pulled the trigger!
Sheild K1 Tablet, dnloaded go4 app, did rc update, ac update, and flew great!!!! the only problem i see is auto takeoff flies up to about 25ft and slowly desends

That would be due that you have enabled the precision landing feature i am sure?

yes i do, never used auto takeoff before, experimenting.

It is not the "Auto takeoff" that does it, it is the "precision landing" (or whatever it is called) that trigger it. To be able to figure out the take off place it hoover a extra height and "take notice" of the place under it so it can find it when it returns. :-)

In other words, if you have gravel when taking off but the grass has grown high while it was flying it can't find its way home.

Welcom to the club, that is even worse than mine, have you checked the props or tried another set?
If not the props are alright it make things even more unstable.

Mine is taking big slowly drifting around and up/down, sure it has to do with the GPS receivers got a problem with the newer firmwares.

The a drone is new, today is the 4 flight I make, i change the propelas for the second set and still the same problem, and the problem started after the firmware update

Hi Beeper, I only just saw your post. I live in Perth and must be one of the lucky ones; running latest firmware, hardware and software and no problems I am aware of. Just got back from a trip to Carnarvon and Kalbarri, got some video's on Youtube. They look all OK to me.
Slight problem after last RC update, takes a couple of charges to get it to charge to 100%. No problem with previous RC firmware. Please contact me if you want anymore specific information. BTW, I live in the northern suburbs here in Perth.

I finally got some great news from DJI support. For the first time, they've admitted to me that there is a problem with version 106 and it is being worked on "as we speak." There will be a new firmware released although they could not tell me when (which I do understand).

I am too tired of checking this thread everyday and leaving it hopelessly... I lost my whole faith in DJI and my Phantom 4 pro. Once that was great joy to fly. Not anymore. Yesterday I had a flight in İstanbul. And got every possible warning sound an message. I flew with my remote beeping and aircraft keeps disconnetcing, seeing imaginary obstacles in the sky, falling end making weird engine sounds while getting down. Thats so pitty a firm this big, a firm once managed to make us respect its products is losing it with such a nonsense silence!

This is the wrong thread if you are waiting for P4 Pro firmware. This thread is for the P4, different machine, different firmware.

It's not like DJI to publish inaccurate information sometimes, I suspect that was an error. The issues for the P4 are instable flight, and camera stops recording when 4k @ 30fps used (Beta available for camera problem). The issues for the P4P are gimbal buzzing and calibration failing (Or so I've read), for which they now have a beta release.

If I were looking for a P4P problem I would be looking in the P4P section for an answer, not here.

Well as stated again and again my P4P minus (+) has all the same issues as hit the P4 except for the Gimbal noise and recordings stopping by itself.

All started late June with v04.04.0602 that came with a package for both RC+AC for P4P+ and turned it to the minus.
Unstable flight/hover, very decreased range with disconnections, unusable 2.4GHz, unstable GPS, very touchy control/aggressive stick control, almost the whole 'package'.

Add to this all the settings that has got removed from the App and the false NFZ/EWS you have put to my local area, it is not for nothing i have been very unsatisfied with your very expensive product almost bricked a few weeks from when i bought it!

It is not for the fun i have ended up downgrading after months of waiting and now don't dare to upgrade again, specially as the release notes is omitted from latest releases for GL300E.
