As the title says, I'm receiving my Mini 4 Pro today and this is probably the most excited I've been for a drone to arrive since I started flying.

I would appreciate it if you could share any tips/tricks or things to look out for, it would help me a lot!

Thanks

Congrats! Fly often, read the manual, try out all the features, fly more and fly more!   Rinse and repeat...

There are a lot of videos with lessons on the Internet, I recommend watching them.

You shiny new devices are going to update to the latest firmware when you register them. After that, when an update is released, wait a few days and watch some you tube reviews on the update before you install it on your devices. It's not uncommon............. for new firmware releases to have some bugs DJI needs to work out. Also clear your cache's after updates, and frankly after every uneventful flying session.
Always wait till your homepoint is updated before flying away from your takeoff spot.
Use a landing pad, props, motors and camera lenses should be kept away from dust and dirt.
Learn to hand launch and land, no you don't need to flip it over for the motors to stop, just be patient.
Buy a good glass screen protector if you have the RC2, and get some Polar Pro or Freewell ND filters for the drone, it takes amazing videos and pictures.
Don't fly if its too windy, and go slowly at first until you become used to your gear. After you get experienced with it, you can pretend its an F22 Raptor and you're in a dogfight, just take it easy at first and don't crash into anything.
There is no reason ever, for the propellers on your drone to touch anything other than air. Have fun!
