What is the advantage of having the Ronin's roll gimbal axis of rotation oriented at a 45 degree angle from the yaw axis? Having the yaw, roll, and pitch axis all orthogonal would seem to be a more natural configuration. Are the motors oriented as they are to decrease the size of the stabilization system? Is there a compromise in performance when operating in this way?
