I know the Pocket 3 has gimble stabilization but does it also have electronic stabilization?
I own a Pocket 2 and this feature would make me spring for a Pocket 3.
Otherwise, I'll just use my GoPro 11 on a gimbal.

its a Machanical Stabilization with micro motors.   you may use software for additional  Stabilisation in Post.  OP3 all motor no electronic EIS

Here you can see the Pocket 3 under actioncam conditions, fixed at the handle bar of a bike:

Completely unusable, and no EIS could help there. The problem is not the stabilization by the gimble, the problem is the focus element of the lens, which is bumping from one extrem to the other.
Here the same tour with an Osmo Action (1) and an iSteady pro gimbal, also mounted at the handle bar of the bike (starts at 33:18):

Each camera differs I say, My Humble Opinion.  if you put the Pocket 3 on an E-Bike this is what you get.

wit ha drone  the propellers can  ruin the shot wit this brushless motors, all that vibration, back in the Pham v1.1.1. days.

I use an Action 4 wit ha gimbal if I want it all.

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

Indeed, the Osmo Pocket 3 is equipped solely with a 3-axis gimbal for mechanical stabilization.

Feel free to contact us for any assistance. Thank you.
