Hi Rene, I am sorry for the issue you encountered. May I know which cable you are using for connecting the controller and your iPhone and the firmware version of the controller, the iOS you have on the phone for double-check?
At the same time, could you please try to use the cable that came with your phone for the connection and see if the disconnection issue can be solved?
Look forward to hearing back from you.
Hi Stephen,
I am using the original cables delivered with the mavic air 2. So that is a usbc to usbc on my iphone 15 pro and a usbc to lighting on the iphone 13 pro.
I have found out, trying out several things, that the possibility that a connection is established increases when i deliver energy over the bottom usbc on the controller, when i unplug the bottom usbc from a powerbank the controller immediately disconnects from the Iphone still connetced over the regular top usb-c exit. Unfortuntaley this is no permament solution, because the connections gets lost after a while.
I tripple checked the Versions on all devices, they are all UP TO DATE, there is no newer firmware for the controiller and for the drone on the DJI Assistant 2 App on MAC OS, i also tried with „refresh“ an rinstallation of the firmware to make sure nothing is corrupted. So i just dont know what to do. partially the connection between iphone and controller is establiahed, but what makes it lose the connection constantly and what it makes it a lucky game that 1 of 10 times it will connect?
i have tried several different cables, also original from the iphones, but that didn’t help.
Would it help to deliver a Protocol?
Current FirmwareVersion Drone: 01.01.1600Controller Version 04.11.0400
I can see with the DJI Fly App that iphone 15 pro is supported now, does that mean it should normally just work?
Greetings.
PD:
SInce i didnt fly over a year, i have noticed that the drone "cools" with a ventilator the heating without flying, since i was trying to connect the iphones to the controller and left the drone on, it drained the battrery within 1-2 hours, was this normal behavior? i dint recall that if the drone is grounded that it would be so noisy and loud befreo flying....
