Hello guys.

I just got my Neo and like it says, did all the firmware manbojambo...
I have been using DJi since 2014 and yeah I have had my dose of issues with it but hey, they are great, overall!

So yeah, DJI Neo it is.
Got the thing and as for many, the best thing in it is the new Direction Track feature, that will allow me to "have someone filming me" during my youtube reviews.

Thing is...
IT STOPS ABRUPTLY WITHOUT WARNING!!!  WHY?????? OH, MY GODS, WHY!?!?!?!?

Yes, I start Direction tracking (with my phone in hand, just in case I have to take control suddenly) and start shooting.
As soon as I enter a house (for example) or move from a lit environment to a lesser lighted one... or the opposite, IT STOPS!
AND... WORST OF ALL, it does not warn!
I lost a LOT OF FOOTAGE because of this ...!

Why does this happen?
What am I doing wrong?

In autonomous modes, the Neo demands a well-lit environment.  I attempted to have mine follow me through a brightly lit warehouse.  It worked well until I walked under a rack overpass.  It was still well illuminated, but much dimmer in comparison to the open aisles.  At each overpass, the drone would stop & land itself.  Even if I walked back to within a couple feet of the drone where it could clearly see me, it still aborted the follow & insisted on landing.   Hopefully the engineers can tweak this behavior in the firmware & make it a bit less sensitive?

Yeap, I understand that. But it does work flawlessly with the follow mode. I do exactly the same thing in follow mode and it wen from one balcony to the other terrace in the back.
I mean, I would understand if it failed when ENTERING the room but it also stopped when exiting from the kitchen to the terrace in the back which is a lot more illuminated than the kitchen

So... probably not that! ;)

Hi there, thank you for reaching out and we do apologize for the trouble caused. It is recommend to use this feature in well-lit environment or bright places. Could you please try do a test flight in different environment with better lighting and see if this issue persists?

Looking forward to your response.
