Hello DJIIs it possible to add NIGHT MODE to Air 3S? The all-in-one video mode does not seem to work well for nighttime video recording.
Also is it possible to add software nd filters? I have seen it on some mobile phones.

What do you mean by software ND filters? Process image in drone and lower LUMA? This would be a pointless thing, as you will get choppy movement because of 180 degrees rule...and can be made in post edit in just 1 second or just increase SS and have same effect...
Maybe I do not follow your idea... ?

There is no such thing...that is done by using the SS value...
How to use variable AP in soft?
The software AP in phones is only for blur the background using an algorithm, need processing power to make it.
In rest, the high line phones actually have variable AP main lense.

You’re correct there is such a thing as a digital filter and some cameras use then, in fact probably the most sought after camera in the world the Fuji X100 VI has a digital 4 stop ND filter. I actually own one and there is a tear down of one on you tube that shows its a digital filter and Not a hardware filter.
This is something if could be developed for drones would be a fantastic addition , meaning no more landing to add on filters .
