Lucky for sure. Those ominous clouds probably held enough moisture to create some moderate flooding if it had poured down.

You must be sending your rain my way then as we've had more rain for this time of year than ever before. Usually late March through April is the rainy season here.

It's going to be a really wet winter. Come Spring the ground should be really fertile, moist and ready to plant.

Most of the farmers have already planted their spring crops, they do a thing I think called over wintering which makes the crop more resistant to poor weather later.

Yes, I looked it a year or two ago, it makes it more resistant to drought and weather changes as well as more resistant to disease.
