I have the Avata 2 and have been using it perfectly fine. I’m in Iceland right now in a small fishing village and wanted to get some pans of the village. I had previously done some mountain dives/ mountain flying so I had turned the altitude limiter off. I started taking off with a motion controller which was totally fine but then the drone said ‘sensor error’ so I tried to descend but the drone didn’t let me descend. Over the next 17 minutes I tried descending to no avail. It said I was going down and it was not going down and I had to pilot away from civilization in case it dropped. It climbed to 429m while thinking it was around 80m. RTH did not work, trying to land did not work. I was able to recover mostly intact but now it has even more warnings and will need to be fixed. Would that be covered under the limited  warranty??

Hi, I just had this exact "sensor error" issue a few days ago! After takeoff drone immediately did not respond to up-down control, I could move the camera and move forward-back and side-to-side. All RTH attempts failed and suddenly drone shot from 20m up to 150m by itself! Saw this same "sensor error" message. All attempts to regain control failed. The drone then stopped responding to any directional inputs. It even did not start to land when the battery went to 0 - it said "emergency landing" but stayed at same altitude up in the sky until the battery completely drained to 0. It then fell 120m onto a field/wasteland and was found by a passer-by 2 days later after being in rain and snow all day. No visible damage and the drone turned on after charging, all seems fine, but have not dared to take off again in fear that it may go crazy again.

It did but by the time I was like ‘why isn’t this flying down’ I was already a couple hundred feet up like what’s going on

Yeah I saw a Reddit post about it seems like this is a common thing happening to people just recently. At least 4 or 5 people seem to have the same problem which makes me think it may be a software issue on their side. I’m headed home from Iceland and will send it out for repair but not be happy if they charge me for it
