O4 pro Air Unit - Red Camera Error ?

I received this error today while flying my iflight chimera 7pro v2.

I'm using the Goggles 2 with the O4 pro air unit. I've flown it several times then I suddenly get a stutter and the red camera error message. The video is stuck on the screen but the OSD keeps updating. The video recording from the air unit stopped as well.

Luckily I have gps rescue setup on my drone so I just clicked the button and prayed it would come home. if it wasn't for that I would have lost my drone.


Does the red error mean the cable came loose ? Whats the difference between red and orange error codes? The video never return to the goggles even when the drone was right above me. I had to unplug the drone and plugged it back in to get video back but the error was gone . The air unit and goggles 2 were updated before any flights

passing me onto iflight doesn't help. the air unit is from DJI and purchased separately. All the iflight stack, ELRS stuff works and never had an issues until I linked my goggles to the O4 air unit.

The chimera came with a O3 air unit and I just put a O4 pro air unit in it. I flew the drone about 4-5 times and it then lost signal.

I've had the stutters before on the O3 as well but it never lost video. Was't there an issue with O4 air units and the Goggles 2 with link dropping? did the recent firmware update not fix it?

As you can see in the video, I never "lost" link just the camera froze and the MB went to zero. If I completely lost link it would have not been updating the OSD from Betaflight.

What is the difference between a Red Camera error and the Orange Camera error I've seen on these forums?

It’s not an iflight issue… it’s a DJI issue. The air unit is from DJI not iflight…I purchased the o4 air unit pro a few days ago. The iflight support would have nothing to do with it because I didn’t purchase the air unit from them. I bought the iflight drone with o3 air unit before o4 even came out and I’ve had no issues with it. .

Is DJI really going to ignore me and push me off to Iflight ??

You can clearly see in the video everything on the drone is working besides the are O4 air unit… the air unit is even receiving the beta flight info and passing it to the goggles. The goggles and the air unit lose video. Those are both dji products not iflight.

Again why are you passing me off and not helping with your product issue ?? You have still not answer my question that I’ve asked multiple times as well. What is the difference between red and orange camera errors ?
