This is the tallest bridge in California and one of my earlier edits.

I think you have good control of the drone filming up and down in the visual field of view, nice remote place with a high bridge.

Great video.

Unfortunately this bridge is an attractor for both suicides and the latest trend, grid span walking.  So the death rate is climbing despite the extra barriers that were installed a few years ago.

Yeah its unfortunate, but I think anywhere you have a tall enough bridge with pedestrian access is going to attract jumpers. As for the grid walkers, thats up to them if they want to test out some darwinian theories. I just hope they dont land on anyone below.

I went there and got some cool shots but was having major problems with the app that day. Going to have to make the trek back there this weekend because I didn't get the ONE SHOT that I really needed. Despite DJI go indicating that the Spark was filming it was not. :-(

I was trying to get a shot of the bridge supports from the ground all the way to the upper deck and do a nice reveal so I hiked to the bottom of the bridge supports to launch. Ugg so frustrating to hike all the way out there, almost get eaten by a rattlesnake and then not get the one shot that I wanted. I may try and get the shot from the top of the bridge this time... my spark really doesn't like it when you put bridges, hills, or fences between the transmitter and the drone... When you were there did you have line of sight to the bottom of the bridge supports?

If you take off from southeast side of the bridge you have line  of sight all the way down to the river.
While you are there get lake clementine too.
