That is exactly what it is mate.
"The large Obelisk in Trent Park, North London was brought from Wrest Park by Sir Philip Sassoon in 1934 in order to impress the Duke and Duchess of Kent, honeymooning at the estate (the Duke of Kent in 1934 was the younger brother of the later King George VI, an Uncle of the reigning Queen Elizabeth II and the father of the current Duke of Kent - the Prince who gives out the main trophies at Wimbledon). A channel was carved through the forest to afford a grand view of the monument from Trent Park House."
You can just about see the house to the left of the monument. The Queen stayed here for a while at the start of WWII. The house is now being converted into apartments. One of the rooms in the house was hand painted in blue by Winston Churchill and it is where the British army imprisoned Nazi Generals caught during the war. Very historic area and now just miles of beautiful fields and one of my favorite flight areas.
