The natural waterfalls of the Oxena (or Ossena) stream in the territory of Militello in Val di Catania in Sicily, shot in 4K with DJI Mini 2 Drone. Set in an environmental context characterized by riparian species that accompany the watercourse, they are permanently fed by the Oxena stream. The Oxena, never deep, is a tributary of the Trigona stream. Basaltic rocks characterize, in the section including the waterfalls, the bed of the Oxena stream. The surrounding environment is made up of green quarries and sunny plateaus. The Ossena waterfalls today constitute one of the most intact natural environments of the Iblei of Catania. The waterfalls are active all year round, ensuring the presence of water even in periods of drought.

Great views, particularly of the cascade of waterfalls. Almost a decade since we visited Sicily, but in a brief stopover we saw some wonderful sights.
thanks! you're right, there are so many beautiful places here to visit

Since we were on a cruise around the Med. back then, our time on Sicily was limited. If we ever get back, it will be for a longer visit.
oh yes, the island is very big, I was born here, in 40 years I could not see everything.... so I would say it takes a long time eheheh :-D
