A very strange thing happened today on my second flight with Goggles 3 and O3 Air unit, at take-off goggles feed went black and stayed like this for about 2-4 seconds, and then came back OK  when checking records of goggles this clip is with 0 length completely Empty???? Everyone else?

It may be caused by overexposure or underexposure in certain scenarios due to the excessive adjustment of the exposure value in Manual Exposure mode during the last mission, and Exposure mode failing to be set to Auto. To resolve the issue, tap “Exposure Mode settings” in the bottom right corner of the camera view, and set it to “Auto”.

I've certainly been cautious since, waiting a few seconds to launch after arming and whatnot; hasn't happened since, knocking on wood & whatnot.  Not sure what to make of it, but it'd sure be nice to see if there's others that have had similar issues.  I'd be willing to guess we're not the only ones, but I have a feeling that it's only an occasional problem and difficult to reproduce.

Lucky You it happened to me during take off so I have no other choice but Up ... So obviously it's a "Feature" (Not a Bug oh No DJI have none of them ) to look for Did You check the record on a goggle SD card? Myne is 0-sized.

I've not looked at the SD as of yet, but it's most likely the same as yours.  I'm just glad the DJI jumped in quickly with a likely solution.  I'll have to take a look at my current Exposure Mode setting in the Goggles 3 setting; I know that I had changed it to manual once in the past, but I could have sworn that I'd previously changed it back to auto.

Don't be fooled it has nothing to do with exposure   it's a FW bug in goggles. If it was exposure related it'll deteriorate the picture quality Not totally black out the googles for a brief period and the go to OK again + I never use Manual but always Auto

so.. now that O3 is supported on the latest goggles, does it mean we can connect the Air2s?

For 6 flights with Goggles 3 and O3 Air Unit 2 goggles went black at take-off I am going to my trusty Goggles V2 for the moment

As I've only got the Goggles 3 & O3, I'm pulling my O3's and switching back to Walksnail until DJI can address & sort these confidence busting issues.

I'm guessing that these Instabilities are the primary reason that DJI took so long to release the backwards compatibility firmware

Maybe the O4 will be better?  Not too sure how much more $$$ I'm willing to throw at DJI

Same here, black screen on G3 a few seconds after takeoff. I've also noticed there is a stutter on video feed during flight that occurs every other flight. My assumption is lag issue that corrects itself.

Other than that, the g3 are perfect and super comfortable

Are there any plans to make Goggles 3 compatible with Mavic 3 Pro / RC Pro? Is it possible to pair Goggles 3 with an RC Pro using a mini HDMI to USB-C cable?

You can get live video on RC Pro with a USB C to C cable from any of the DJI FPV series goggles, and can then have that displayed on a bigger screen via mini-HDMI out. There's no known plans to make Goggles 3 directly compatible with Mavic 3 series though, probably only gonna happen for M4 series.

Will there ever be an update to include mavic 3 compatibility? Should i wait? Or should I refurnd and downgrade the goggles?

At the moment, DJI Mavic 3 Pro is only compatible with DJI Goggles Integra/DJI Goggles 2. It is somewhat misleading to have two products labeled "3" that aren't compatible with each other. I'm hoping that DJI will issue a software update for either the controller and/or the goggles that will make them compatible, but I'm not holding my breath.

Careful using o3 air unit with goggles 3. There is a wide spread issue of complete video loss using them together.

Are DJI engineers planning to introduce 70mm camera support for the Air 3 in the next firmware? Right now, Goggles 3 only supports 24mm lens. I feel let down by DJI

Hi,  I’m having an issue with one of my avata 2 drones. After a recent firmware update, the motors stopped running, and I received a “Visual System Calibration Error” message. Prior to the update, I was getting a “Back Video Sensor Error” message.  I use this drone for freestyle flying and exclusively in manual mode, so I don’t need the sensors. However, now I can’t get the drone to operate at all—it won’t fly. Additionally, I’ve noticed that the Avata 2 doesn’t support calibration with Assistant 2, which limits my options.  Could you please help me resolve this issue?  Thank you.

Recently while flying with Goggles 3 I had this crazy idea for a new feature.
Since a lot of drones now transmit Remote ID with its position, it would be great if on the FPV view in Goggles, the position of those drones will be marked on screen, so when flying You will see other drone positions and can avoid them.

Maybe, perhaps, DJI might wanna address the elephant in the room:

New firmware so the Goggles 3 is now compatible with the Neo.

Frankly, I wouldn't expect a straight response from DJI; doing so would be an acknowledgment on their part that there is a serious issue with their Goggles 3 and/or firmware.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you.  When "fixed some bugs" or "fixed some known issues" is described in the firmware release notes, it is usually to update some regular software running logic or fix some problems that do not affect the use of the product. These basically have no impact on your use of the product, please feel free to use it. If you have urgent shooting tasks, you can upgrade later; If it is an important firmware upgrade, engineers will list in the release notes what new features have been added or what user experience has been improved. How often did you experience the issue before? (I've never had it happen luckily.)

Can hdmi input via a capture card be supported at some time? Most newer Android os supports it (even the occlusion quest does). I would really like to see this (to allow Sim support)
