Hey guys, I just finished my middle school years and I really want to thanks DJI for giving me an opportunity in my life by allowing me to discover this new community under a brand new exotic sky.
In a nutshell, my story goes like this,
In 6th grade, when was I struggling deeply in education, where getting C's and D's were my custom, I really hated attending school. After I finished my horrible first semester, a no-surprise grade with several C's and few B's came into our mail. My father saw my struggling, but he also sees my great interest in flying toy drones. I remembered I bought a GoPro and a GoPro gimbal, then I somehow glued it onto a large toy drone and was managing to get some of my first aerial drone footages. At that moment, he asked me to get a GPA of 4.0 with a reward of a DJI Phantom 3.
"Wow", that really surprised me that my parents would actually buy me a thousand-dollar drone?
At first, I thought that this reward will never be given to me since there is NO WAY I can get a GPA of 4.0, so I threw that offer on the back of my brain, however, I got extremely interested in DJI drones are almost remembered all of the model's name. I also tried to earn money by alternating methods so I can get myself a Phantom without needing to kill myself in schoolwork. It wasn't until a "Visionary Intelligence, Elevated Imagination" tab appeared on DJI's website where I got really excited about the new product that I'll never be able to afford.
After the release of the Phantom 4, the first thing came to my mind was "WOW! This thing is beautiful!", so for somehow, I told myself that I have to get this drone!
Soon, I actually started working hard in school, remembering vocabulary terms to midnight, memorizing math equations every single afternoon, reading history articles over and over again, started double checking on my homework, and attending afterschool activities. I totally believed that I had worked as hard as ever before. With all these hard works and a lot of suffering from it, I received a grade of five A's and a 'B+'.
Remember my parent's offer? I need a GPA of 4.0, but having a 'B+' is only 3.8, so I was nearly crying that night. However, my wonderful parents saw my hard work and secretly ordered the Phantom 4 and it arrived in two days. When I opened up of the box that they said it was "for me". I cried again, with joys on my face. Wow, my first Phantom is here.
That is only the beginning of the story, I learned a lot of photography and cinematography skills by experimenting with the drone and learning on Youtube, and I also started my racing drone careers which I call fun. I've never thought of joining this community called Skypixel and earned my very first public reputation on it. Then I started to build my own drones and which bought me a lot of knowledge of electronics which encouraged me to learn the programming language C++...

The real rising action which I believe, all came from a drone... That is why I really want to thank DJI for an opportunity which changed my life. |
