I have 5 Arlo Pro cameras and a Ring Video 2 Doorbell around my house and I use a Linksys EA9500 router. I'm not having any issues at all and I am surrounded by tall lush trees too.

Thanks for the feedback. Do you know of it's the same wpm3000 net gear router?

I read the way to get it to change bands is to reset it with your main router off. So it chooses a random wifi channel. I may mess with this.

At the moment all the test I've do e with the router on show signal loss and zero loss with the router off. Could just be a wild goose chase I'm sure.

Took it away from home today and did a longer flight and I get zero signal loss. It's really looking like the Specific wifi box to me.

I found that on the Mavic 2 on the aircraft information screen it is giving a high interference warning. Yet there are no messages alerting of this which is strange.

Also on the Mavic in the exact same location there is no interference.  Why would the Mavic 2 have less ability to work in a location with interference? seems strange.

My Mavic 2 zoom is giving me that same message about remote channel being poor. And It would take a couple of times turning off and on the remote and the aircraft to get the remote channel to show good in the go4 app. i have always fly all my DJI drones in the same place and never had this problem. two days ago it briefly lost connection while I was landing it, and it was just 40feet above me.

Are you suggesting that it is best to use the USB port and use an Apple lightning cable?

yes. i bought a short one for that (0.5m).
the dji cables are bad. a lot of people had heavy issues with them in the past (mavic pro).
and it is not cool to have disconnects because of the flat dji cables (even brand new, out of the box).

Ah, thanks for the advice. Funny enough I put a small Apple cable in the bag with my PortaPow.

These are RC to AC disconnects. Not RC to phone.

That is the scariest kind.

Also had this happen on one of my first flights, but hasn't happened since. The remote stayed connected but the app disconnected.
