Looking at the Mini 2 combo and the charger on its own,  its called a 2 way charging hub.  But it appears to hold three batteries?   Can anyone confirm?

I have the charging hub and it does hold 3 batteries.  It can charge up to 3 batteries sequentially or be used as a power bank to charge other devices.  I think that is why it is called a 2 way charging hub (as it can charge or give charge).  Just my guess.  LOL.

You are correct, the charger is the same one that is in the "fly more combo". Good value for that combo as opposed to buying it all seperately.

question about the new hub (the grey one).  will the original mavic mini 1 battery squeeze in there?  the old mm1 battery will fit into the new mini 2 drone.  i know the shapes are different but most of the accessories are compatible.  however the new grey battery will NOT slide into the original black hub.  just wondering if i get the new hub will i be able to use it to charge my old batteries.

that's the one i want, recommended by 51drones.  prob get it instead of another hub, i have 6 batteries. (3+3)

Question:  Is there a charger or charger cord that will plug into a motor vehicle and then into the Mini 2 three bay charger for charging the drone batteries?

the charger works with normal usb cables which comes with it. When your car got a USB outlet which gives you power enough to charge, you are good to go. Check your the specs of your car outlet. If not, you can buy a USB converter for your sigaretlighter output.

This is the FMC one.
Note it does charge in sequence (also the remote). So it is a bit of a wait.

If it is empty, yes. It takes some time.
It has a huge battery though.
Probably because it can be used to charge a phone too.

Here we can buy power strips with up to 24 sockets but you have to be careful not to overload them.
