I am having the same drone low power state issue. Brand new Avata with Goggles 2 and MC 2. Did all updates to firmware but drone motors never start. Started a video but still sty’s in low power state and no matter what I do the motors will not start. Brand new expensive paper weight. I have seven other DJI drones and this one is garbage. It was a nightmare just to get the firmware updated. Took hours and numerous retry errors. Now got to the point of “Go Fly” and this instant on low power thing will never let it start the motors. Wish I had never bought this junk. How do I get it to fly?

Hi there. Sorry about the trouble. The Low Power mode is normal and does not make the Avata fail to take off. It will exit Low Power mode once you start the motors. It does this when the aircraft does not take off in a few minutes after powering on to prevent overheating. If  I may confirm, have you already connected the goggles to your phone with the Fly app running? Thank you.

Additional information for Avata not starting the motors with a double press of the RC 2 hand held controller lock button. I was also getting a battery communication message. I did not fully push in the battery flexible cable into the drone receptacle. One of the battery communication pins is shorter than the power pins. It will look like the battery is properly attached but if not fully pushed in the smart battery function does not work and it will not let you take off. By fully seating the drone battery connector the start up and flying problem is fixed on my drone. Fully seating the plug also let me fully complete the firmware drone update.

I am glad you finally solved the issue. Additionally, both sides need to be pushed to the end and hear the click sound. The buckle needs to be pressed hard to the end. If there is a gap left by the buckle, there will be an error showing the battery is not installed properly (Battery installation error).

Have a nice day.

so so so embarrassed, I was doing the arming of the motors in the wrong way. I was pushing the red button twice but in the second push I was not releasing the button, I was holding it, I just realice it a minute ago that I saw a video. well dummy mistake. apart from that, all the refreshing fmw is working fine in all the components. thanks!!

I did the same dumb mistake for over a month

It seems that after the update the problems started. I see on this forum that several people have this problem. I hope for an answer from DJI or someone who managed to solve the problem.

Hello there. Sorry about the experience. May I know what error message are you getting? Thank you.

DJI support and the company is useless. A year later another firmware update to try and resolve the problem. Yet, the drone still won't start with any battery. Never purchasing another DJI product again. THE COMPANY IS GARBAGE ALONG WITH YOUR SUPPORT.
