Oh wait, that did not translate well.
It's I think it is called a 'grille' which is a piece of wood that mimics the old way they used to overcome the limit in glass size they could make when they wanted bigger windows.
So they had these wooden pieces that were creating smaller panes where pieces of glass would be fit in.

AH OK,    I think that had a few names here like grid, muntins or grilles.

Absolutely. I got some good advice

I had an electrician out when I was getting my boat dock and pier built and he didn't want to talk about anything or at all.  Guess he was afraid he'd give up some trade secret.
