So as i understand, this voodoo brings the vision part back to FW.17 and then you upgrade again as normal with the latest FW

No, it was to force the new firmware on the vision (17 -01)

So what where you told to do with this file, simply place it on the SD card and it will force the update ov the vision system? and then try and update with the proper firmware again?

was there any other files they gave you?

I have a failed FW update as well and get the solid red led and long continuous tone.
I have updated three times previously without issue. Just get update failed now.
So my inspire is unflyable again. last time it was a defective transmitter. not having much luck and losing faith in DJI. :-(

Have you tried using the option in your software?  Rather than the remote?

Via the App, but the remote still has to be used. You just don't have to select the gear switch up and down multiple times.

My Inspire will not take the newest update. Tried everything I can think of. Its starts the update, I get the 4 quick beeps. It does this for about 15 mins and then I get the long beep of death.  Is Ms. Autumn the only one that can help???  Here's the log

It happened to me once and instead of tugging it 4times, I did it 2 and it worked fine.

Hey, I am having the exact same issue as you are.    What do you have to do with that .bin file?   Put in on the SD and turn on the aircraft?   I do that but nothing happens and no log is created.


Anything that needs to be done?
