When can we expect sequential file numbering for the MA2 and DJI Fly 1.2.4 app. really annoying how it resets file numbers all the time

It seems to be a firmware bug here. When setting manual exposure for my hyperlapse, it seems like the shutter is stuck at 1/6400th even though it claims something else. During capture the image looks fine, but the video (and RAW photo) comes out almost black. I'm on firmware v01.01.0610.

Can anyone check if this is affecting their drone as well?

1/6400 is very fast, so they are black...try in automatic mode, maybe yes, it's a bug

I haven't used my drone in a bit which worked great,
Now it updated itself, batteries and app....I dont have a compass at ALL....I mean not even the area for one much less a correct calibration...just gone?

On the Samsung S20+ ultra, I also don't have a compass, which is missing a lot

Still no update DJI Goggles compatibility with Mavic Air 2 ???? I just bought one and I am so so disappointed, I really really reallyyyyy need this possibility . Please DJI HELPPP, when will be available FPV ?????

You can do it 2 ways:
1-Expensive one - DJI Smart Controller plus DJI FPV Googles if can afford it.

And NO DJI, cruse control in Hyperlapse mode can not be compared to Tap Fly.

Hello everyone, I am new to this Mavic Air 2 Forum, I just bought the Mavic Air 2 recently with the smart controller. Overall the Mavic Air 2 is good to fly. However the lack of WAYPOINT on Intelligent Flight Mode was very disappointing  as I do quite a lot of waypoint flights. As the Smart Controller does not allow third party app like LITCHI, it's  really not worth the extra money buying the "SMART CONTROLLER" .Hopefully DJI will upgrade the firmware allowing WAYPOINTS as one of the Intelligent Flight Mode. Or am I missing something? I was flying the DJI Mavic Pro and was happy with the performance. Mavic 2 Pro is out of reach for now. Thank you.

I can’t install app on last version software on my MAC?

Last version causes at me instability of the drone.
Practically the drone is not stable in one point, just hoover left-right...
Before this, the drone was rock steady.
Also another bug seen:
- On TRIPOD mode, the drone IS NOT CLIMBING in a liniar way....sometimes goes up faster, sometimes slower. Was tested with 2 batteries, 2 phones, 2 cables...This happens only when remote stick is in position full forward and full up
DJI, please check.
PS. Yes, I have recalibrated all...I'am too old in drones not to think at all this possibilities.

This problem have I seen more of as well.... when flying forward the drone goes left and right without input from me or the controller.... If I take a long clip and speed ramp it you can see it much clearer. This was not an issue before or on earlier versions.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese add waypoints function to MA2, the hardware is more than capable of it and it makes no sense to not have waypoints in a drone this good. Many many people are waiting for it. Love DJI and bought a lot of DJI product but a software lock like this just to differentiate Mavic air 2 to higher grade drones is just not cool.

I am also hoping that you will please add/unlock waypoint functionality for the MA2!

I updated on the spot, took the drone out for a spin, no issues at all, except the drifting of the drone. If I fly over a long stretch with the controller input only forward. I can see the drone drift from side to side sometimes. You don't notice it when playback normally, but if you fast forward about 400 to 800% you can see it clear. This has never been an issue before, and it was no wind when I was flying that day.

It seems that old Air 1 is still the best

Does anyone know whats going on with the Fly app updates? On one older android phone Fly app updated 1.2.4, but the newer one is still on 1.2.1.. And no updates on Play store?  Odd.

I heard you can only get the FLY APP updates from DJI support page now.  I believe they stopped updating Play Store content after version 1.2.1 for Android.  Not sure where they stopped for the iOS version.  FLY App for Android is up to version 1.3.1 now, but only from DJI download page.   https://www.dji.com/downloads/djiapp/dji-fly

Probably never add waypoints in DJI apps. DJI wants to have the least amount of responsibility. Way too many would crash their drone and blame DJI. I use Dronelink mission app. It was out in Beta testing  which I participated in for over two months. The Native App has been released about three weeks ago. Amazing Mission app.

If interested in a mission app I believe this is the best one. It’s uses Virtual Stock approach instead of the basic onboard waypoints as in all the others. The reason some like the onboard waypoints is because the mission will continue if signal is lost and disconnects. However, with these newer drones and such great transmission distances that's not an issue. At 2,000 feet or so you can't see the drone unless you use Stone Lights in daytime. That's just under 1/2 mile away. The Virtual Stick approach which Dronelink uses is why it seperates itself from the rest of the apps. It actually sends commands to the controller sticks in real time as if you were flying it manually. With this method DL can perform many other functions which cannot be done with the others.
Maybe you will try it out. If not happy you can always get a refund because Dronelink stands behind their product. Good luck. Enjoy

Did anyone else get a prompt yesterday for a firmware update for the Mavic Air 2?

I did not have time to install it but did download the firmware update to my phone. I will see later on today if I can install it.

*** Update **** The Firmware Update was listed as the Mavic Air 2 but it was for the Remote, adding support for using the Mavic Air S2 with the Mavic Air 2 Remote.

Does anyone ever find that their Mavic air 2 transmission becomes interrupted and makes it scary to fly because it freezes for a second

I also had a problem with a black screen on the tablet several times yesterday.  I thought that the problem was in the ipad.  before that I upgraded to the latest version.  this has not happened before.

Is there a way to lock the EV in auto mode after the new update? Can't find any way to do this after the new update?

Please release DJI mavic Air 2 gimbal update firmware... Error Code 40011...
