the dji fpv is a previous generation drone and it likely gets little to no more attention.  the dji fpv team has probably disbanded and moved on to dji fpv 2.  i don't know this for sure but the dji fpv probably already has everything it is going to get.  you already have a goggles option, it is called goggles v2 so there isn't a huge need to make goggles2 or integra compatible.  i have both and not missing anything, goggles v2 is fine; not ideal but we loved it when there was no 2 or integra.  the mavic 3 and mini 3 pro are current generation drones and dji and drone merchants sell the drones new (not on clearance or refurb) so yes they get attention and love from dji, it is expected.  wouldn't rule anything out but highly unlikely. so, btw what do expect goggle2 will offer you that v2 cannot?

I have to agree.

I have the DJI FPV since day 1 and immediately ordered the AVATA with Goggles 2 when it came out, assuming that the compatibility of the FPV with the Goggles 2 will be submitted in a folowing Firmware Update, because it simply makes no sense for FPV sales not to do so.

This is extremely pathetic. I want the Goggles 2 because I want the head tracking. I am holding off buying a DJI FPV drone because of this. Just for this particular thing, I am being routed toward buying the Avata. Another thing DJI is silent about.. The performance of the Avata and whether it will be fixed with an update or not.

are you expecting head tracking to work on the dji fpv if they make the goggles 2 compatible?  what makes you so sure it will work?  do you believe the function is contained inside the goggles 2?

I understand with his words that hi has goggles 2 for head track the avata, not that he expects an fpv update for head tracking. That’s asking too much to DJI, when they are not even capable to make FPV and goggles 2 compatible.

DJI, please, make it happen!

It's ridiculous that you guys looking forward for DJI to makes a decision that not met their benefit interest. DJI is not Apple or Google, don't expect them too high. Think about where they are!
They will release integra firmware update to make them compatible once Goggles v2 stock cleared. We'll see.

New firmware it’s announced before the end of next month, so maybe they will include goggles 2 compatibility with the remote ID.

Hi. You can download the DJI Assistant 2 and install it from your computer to update your goggles. Click here to get it downloaded. You will need to connect the goggles to the computer with a USB-C cable once downloaded and the goggles needs to be turned on.

I reckon the upcoming RID update for DJI FPV will introduce the issue we had with the Goggles 2 and being forced to connect your phone to the OTG whilst flying. I doubt it will bring G2 compatibility.

I think it's here!  We'll see if all the features are ready.

Nevertheless, regarding post #40, I would wish for the future that DJI would reconsider communication with its customers. After all, the update must have been worked on for some time, so it could have been announced at least weeks ago, similar to how the FW with gyro data support for Action 2 was announced in advance.

In the absence of a successor or another comparable DJI drone, I can't think of any reason why DJI would want to hold back with this information.

Nevertheless, as I said, a great update that I didn't expect anymore. And better late than never.

• Added support for the aircraft to use with DJI Goggles Integra and DJI Goggles 2.
• Added support for Remote ID requirements in the United States.

• Restart the aircraft, remote controller, and goggles after the update is complete.
• Note that the update may reset various flight parameters such as the RTH altitude and the maximum flight distance. Before updating, take note of your preferred settings and readjust them after the update.
• If the update fails, restart the aircraft, remote controller, goggles, and DJI Fly or DJI Assistant 2 (DJI Consumer Drones Series), and retry.

I did the update and my goggles 2 now work with my FPV, sadly I can’t take off without connecting my phone and even worse, I can not downgrade the firmware.  Seriously ticks me off because I don’t have a freaking cable since I only use magsafe.  Give us the ability to downgrade

I can confirm I have flown teh DJI FPv with Goggles Integra but I haven't tried goggles 2 yet.  Because I couldn't find the link button on the Goggles 2 which is located between the two eyepieces.  After software update, you not only have to link the drone/goggles in the goggles menu but also you have to pair them (meaning press and hold buttons on both drone and goggles).

All goggles are compatible with the d j v fpv But only the integer goggles do not require a phone for remote ID.
