For sure.

Just did some minor touch ups after having given all the surfaces that will get RAL 9001 their first coat last night.
I had a bigger roller than usual, so I can feel some muscles now.

No doubt you've used a few muscles more than usual.  I'm guessing that was a lot of rolling.

I'm ok. Tonight I will do the ceiling for a second time, so I can start working 'down'.
Ok, still need to do 140m of small trimming on the ceiling....
Not looking forward to having to do that.

I never did like ceiling work or cutting in paint on the trims.

Yeah, I'll make a video soon.
Right now I'm making mock ups for the window sills. So I can mess up without risking the expensive wood.
Lots of measuring and cutting.

It worked well so far.
I did one that was almost 'as it should be', with some old wood and the old trimmings.
So that we could 'see' how it would look and how much 'overhang' we wanted.






And then I moved on the the most difficult one.
I had to take the width of the bade into consideration, so that is why there is still a small gap.
If I do everything ok, that should not be there in the final one
It's in 3 pieces, but we decided to add a small piece on the outer edges, so I screwed that on (which was much easier in hindsight than trying to make it from one solid piece.








And now I have to do the other ones and order the oak.......
Man, I hope this will go well.

Measure three times and cut once.  Definitely don't forget about the kerf (width of the blade).

I did forget about that. Or I knew I was going to get that problem.
I screwed all the pieces together in the right position, but the middle piece on top of the outer pieces (all were too long back then) and then I cut them while being screwed together.
So the cuts are perfect in angle, but there is a gap.
Now I just hope I can make it fit on the real piece after transferring the edges and adding a few mm on the cut side.

It's shaping up nicely.
