Funny, I just wanted to ask you.
I noticed the update yesterday, but did not want to do it before flying.
Updating as we type.

You dont need to connect the drone to check for the update.  Just tap on Profile -> Settings -> firmware

Not sure why, but I did not get a notification until I connected a drone.
Yesterday it was almost instantly (when I had the drone connected). Today it took forever until I connected the drone.
It could have been a coincidence.

They are expecting some heavy weather tonight here from what I see.

You only get the message on the home screen when the drone is connected but you can check without it manually.

Its a different kind of concrete. This does not need rebar. They call it foamconcrete if I translate it 1:1.
It has a lot of air bubbles inside, so it insulates very well. But it is not strong enough to build a house or anything on. It needs a slab of harder material on top, to spread the pressure.

Ah.   I didn’t know you didn’t need rebar.    They built lots of schools here with it,  I think we call it RAAC and it’s causing some issues with school buildings collapsing.

Yeah, I read about that. It's a different material, but also similar in some ways.
There won't be any structural forces on this floor. Just some furniture and a couple of humans, so I'm not too worried about that.
