I see no reason why you could not reuse the hubs and screws. Maybe Ken could comment on th ...

Thanks for the reply Rich. I found that the screws were very tight and decided to just leave them alone and not add anymore loctite. Again, thanks for the reply.

Can somebody please help with this concern?

I installed these new locking props a few days ago.

The silver dotted props seem to twist kind of hard into place while twisting it into lock position, and as it is getting into that final turn on the twist where it should lock, it does not "Click".

Both my red dotted props are much softer on the twist and click very easily.

But both my silver dotted props seem to be a lot harder to twist and does not click at the end.

I thought I had a bad set so I went ahead and bought some new set of the 1345T prop locks and props again. But same thing, the silver dotted  props are much tighter to twist and do not click at the end of the twist.

So, is this normal or am I missing something here.

Please let me know as I am totally freaked out about flying my bird without being sure of this.

Thank you

There may not always be a "click" but as long as it's in the locked position they are locked.

No problem,

I hope some others using the new "T" prop system would give us some feedback too. But I am very happy with the new design and hopefully you will enjoy them also.

Ken has been very helpful as well.

It would be nice to hear how the new motors are working and if they are more powerful than the originals

If you put the new motors on an Inspire1 you will not notice much difference at all. You need the ESC's as well then you would have the same power as a V2.

Don't get me wrong, my Inspire 1 has plenty of power using the X3 camera and have great respect for the power and battery life.
Typically higher KV motors offer less torque overall. I have not heard anyone talking about the new power system regarding the performance.  So it would be nice to understand how they achieve more power with the same battery life with higher KV motors. Do you know?

I have ordered the new V2 for another aircraft as back up. I hope that I receive the true V2 with 601 remotes

You will see when you get the V2, it has more power and is way quieter.
With the new motors, Esc's, props, it truly is like getting out of your really nice year old car and stepping into a brand new one. You are really going to like it.

Thank's, Rich!   Haven't flown with the new props yet, but they do seem sturdier and thus safer.

Will tell about the X5R. With a lot of luck it will arrive next Friday.

Have a nice weekend!

Just remember, with the X5R on your V1 Inspire you are going to get a lot of "Propulsion output limited" warnings. No bid deal, just a safety feature. And when I flew the X5R on a V1 I got about 12 or 14 minutes on a TB47

Thank's, Ken! Yes, I read about those warnings. I'm not much of a speed flyer, so hopefully I will not see so many warnings. I'm too old for the need of speed 12-14 minutes on a TB47 ain't too shabby, I think.

Woke up to more snow today, wet, cloudy Hope you all got better flying weather!

Take care!

No problem, and you'll also get those warnings when the battery gets low. No big deal thought.
Happy flying
