So I have reprocessed this original video.  I am open to any critique on what I can improve.  At least I know I can get rid of the dark areas and keep it looking somewhat normal.

I used +1+1+0 for camera settings (I might go to +1-1-1 in the future), D-Cinelike, ND16 filter, 60 FPS shutter.  

Post process I used a Sony LUT that seems to bring out the color properly, plus the following boost (See below the vid)
