So... it looks like my spark went from Cincinnati to Ontario and back to Cincinnati but still says it cleared customs, do anyone know if this is normal or not?

Anyone know where is a good place to fly for beginners around the GTA?  Legally of course :p

Check your tracking Status !!   Mine Went to  ON HOLD in HongKong    by kingKong .......   

When I called DHL, agent said its on hold because the cargo flight was overloaded ....  So I should be getting on Friday ....  Yaiiiiieeeeeeks

same here...well.. still early than June 30th planned date. I am sure it will get resolved.

this was my first couple of times ever flying/taking photos with a drone so i find it super user friendly.

to be honest when mine was in transit i contacted DHL support and they were helpful for me so maybe you can try that?

Came home. And the box was dropped at my door. Just open the box and charging batteries.

Will be flying. Soon soon.  

Just. Word of advise . To activate the spark u need to scan the QR code. . Forget it if u using IPhone 6x and 7x. .  Turn on the spark you will see the wifi SSID  spark-xxxxx.   As on the box and on spark battery compartment.  Give the same password to connect and activate .

I you don't see the wifi SSID  . Spark-xxxxx.    Then press power button on spark for 9seconds   . Scan wifi again. This time u will find it. .

FYI: drone legislation updated from Transport Canada dated June 23rd

Fly your drone:

below 90 m above the ground
at least 30 m away from vehicles, vessels, and the public (if your drone weighs more than 250 g up to 1 kg)
at least 75 m away from vehicles, vessels, and the public (if your drone weighs more than 1 kg up to 35 kg)
at least 5.5 km away from aerodromes (any airport, seaplane base, or areas where aircraft take-off and land)
at least 1.8 km away from heliports or aerodromes used by helicopters only
outside of controlled or restricted airspace
at least 9 km away from a natural hazard or disaster area
away from areas where operation could interfere with police or first responders
during the day and not in clouds
within your sight at all times
within 500 m of yourself or closer
only if clearly marked with your name, address, and telephone number

oh yes....previous version was a joke as you couldn't fly within 75m of a squirrel..

Finally I just got an shipping notice. TERRIBLE slow shipping. Should have it last week.
